Last blog of term 2!

Last blog of term 2!

Kia ora,

Term two challenged because I tried lots of new thing like art with new fabrics and cardboard.

My goals for next term are to try more new things and write longer stories.

The things that are special about this week is we are having a matariki celebration and disco.

This is my work.

One bright sunny day the independent  Maori   people went off in their canoes  and found a new bright, shimmering, green  island. It was one in one odd  shaped piece. They excitedly explored the eye caching island for days.

Suddenly, they felt a very big shake!   They saw a giant emerging out of mountains  with a amazingly humongous  ax. The giant got closer and closer, he stopped and he swung the big ax into the middle of the island, it shook like crazy and it split in two pieces and floated away. He swung the ax again it split again, these two pieces floated away as well. Some of the Maori people died from the big shake from falling off when the land got split into three. The giant walk back into the mountains. One day the islands got stuck on whales passing by, and they have been in those spots ever since.

Thats  is why New Zealand is in three pieces.

blog you next term.
